Banister Bend Plantation

The project consisted of the development of a 226-acre Stream and Wetland Mitigation Bank. KBJW also established compensatory mitigation for impacts to wetlands resulting in authorized activities under Section 404 of the Clean Water Act and Virginia Water Protection Permits.

SOLUTIONS OFFERED

• Provide mitigation alternatives for impacts to wetlands and waters of the U.S.
• Establish and maintain wetlands and wildlife habitat that included 95 acres of preserved, constructed and/or restored wetlands, 60 acres of upland buffer and 71 acres of riparian buffer.
• Establish erosion control protection for wetlands and the Banister River.
