I graduated from the University of Dayton in 2019 with a B.S. in Environmental Biology and a minor in Communication. During my time at UD I was president of the Sustainability Club and worked part time at the Hanley Sustainability Institute (HSI).
I lived in New Mexico for a summer and got to work with endangered birds, kayak the Rio Grande, and hike the Sandia Mountains!
I love to stay active - some of my favorite ways to exercise are playing tennis, hiking, running, and riding my bike.
In my free time I like to try cooking new things, sometimes without a recipe, and just see what I come up with!
I love learning about our native pollinators and can identify almost every bumble bee native to Ohio! I'm working on other members of the Apidae family now.
Favorite thing about my job
I get to learn something new almost every day and no two days are the same. I enjoy my time spent out in the field and in the office collaborating with coworkers on different projects.
